what's happening this weekend?

got afflicted with an evil status debuff, but i was mostly just sorting out some roleplay writing stuff after a platform hiccup, and i did teach myself a brand new crochet stitch (the shell stitch) and the alternating rhythm of rows is finally familiar enough that i dont need to be also referencing the tutorial page while doing it, so thats what ive been up to. making a little scarf for the person who gifted me some soft red yarn and using it as an excuse to learn a new stitch/practice!! :D also repainting my nails (pearlescent) and did some laundry (yippee for clean pillowcases)

funny enough, i also have clean bed linens that were just done the day before when i return to this thread

various life circumstances have led to my patience wearing extremely thin, so ideally this week will be spent packing and i’ll be back in the sleepy suburbs this weekend. it might be a lot lonelier of a summer, but i learned we have a yarn store in my hometown, so im set for activities- and the weather should be cooler, so im looking forward to that

settled comfortably in a bed with pink sheets and yummy vanilla perfume on - i have crocheted a replacement set of covers for my headphones, and a small bag for my extra hooks with some scrap cotton yarn i had. had some icecream and pizza. drank a familys worth of caffeine in strong coffee and matcha. delicious

i learned how to carry the yarn for stripes while working in the round and ive been crocheting like a madwoman

i am seeing Phantom of the Opera this weekend

i know nothing of it but i am hoping for a spooky time?

will be watching movies with my best friend tomorrow- the cat returns is on the list i think it was called, cute kitty movie

we have my kid's art show tomorrow so that's pretty rad
