I've been using https://feedbin.com + Reeder.app since Google Reader got shut down. Shout out to feedbin for being a small team that has never raised my yearly sub.

i use yarr and i like it a lot! all the readers i tried before felt too complicated, so i bounced off using RSS for a long time. yarr has stuck with me because it's so simple. i run it locally (i do most of my websurfing on one device), and because it runs in the browser it was easy to add a little CSS to make the colors/fonts suit my tastes.

Capy Reader for Android here. It's simple and straightforward. I don't need any fancy features.
