hi hello i am Ever In The Process of trying to rebuild my music life (see: my music life is in shambles thread)

i'm terminal music player curious. what does everyone use and how do they like it? things i would like:

- pretty and cool and aesthetically pleasing
- some ability to access now playing info for display in an external application (like a status bar or something)
- good library management functionality

i love Clementine. I was an Amarok user back in "the day" https://www.clementine-player.org/

it has:

- Enterprise engine hum background noise
- Nyan cat visualizer
- The CORRECT ux for selecting music to listen to
- fast directory scanning
- support for arbitrary audio streams
- themes
oh no i misread the thread entirely

i like cmus but am not a heavy user. I think it has a solid ux and looks cool.
