Photon Capture (photography)
So I was poking around in my darkroom for the first time in over a year when I came across this old print. What's funny is that while I don't remember it, the fact that it was tossed aside means that at the time I intended to throw it away. Now, I kind of like it though. It's funny how we change isn't it?

Oh yeah I dig that print! It is always funny what photos you make and don't feel too strongly about, but then end up resonating a lot with others. When I started I'd get prints of all the photos on a roll, and it was always surprising what random prints I didn't want that others fought over.
As for some of my own work, in January, I was inspired by a friend to put together a year-end favorites page: https://skalnik.com/2025/ The order shuffles on load, but if you pause on an image the URL is sharable for that image
