i am a stupid fiend for the nytimes xword. i do atlantic and new yorker intermittently. i didn't used to care about "streaks" but now that i've got one of 80+ i find that i do care...

I learned to put together crosswords last year and that has been pretty fun. Y'all should look out for the crossword I'm putting in the next tilde.town zine, and tell me how you find it!
I have done some NYT crosswords but I always solve them on a considerable delay because the Seattle Times licenses them and puts them online for free, but only after some time has passed.
I've also tried some cryptics but I'm pretty terrible at those.

if you wanna get better at cryptic i highly highly highly recommend https://minutecryptic.com. it's one cryptic clue a day, without the rest of the crossword, and with a very soft spoken australian man explaining the clue to you after you've gotten it or given upI've also tried some cryptics but I'm pretty terrible at those.
