Something to note is that the more often you cook a dish the easier (and often quicker) you are able to do so.do you have advice for someone who wants to cook at home more (focusing on nutrition) but struggles to accept the amount of time it takes? like after a long day of work the idea of committing hours to cooking food just pre-exhausts me
Some kitchen gadgets are worth it. If you really like rice then a rice cooker is TOTALLY worth it. I can start it then walk away (which you can't really do using a stove top). I don't have one myself but i've heard some people save a lot of time using a food processor. Cook some chicken, plop it on the rice, throw on a store bought sauce and you've got yourself a reasonably nice meal without too much effort.
Some people really like instant pots, definitely a set it and forget it option.
Don't be afraid to use frozen or canned vegetables. it's not as premium as fresh veggies but they can be ready in a manner of minutes. Many places sell whole rotisserie chickens for pretty cheap, and you can remove and freeze the meat for later quick use.
