i wonder if we could either include a gif lookup widget using gifcities.org or perhaps have gifgram output bb-code to paste into posts

yes i have been wanting to make this for a year. there is already an """"""API"""""" that exposes this for gifgram.

so there's this route:

https://gifcities.org/plain?q=foobar

it returns a plaintext list of search results; each line is WIDTH HEIGHT CHECKSUM

using the checksum you can create a url to the gif out of my s3, eg:

https://blob.gifcities.org/gifcities/<CHECKSUM>.gif

ie
