but it was on easy mode...the bosses mostly fell to one bomb + a little extra. however the final few stages were mildly challenging. the game is oozing with charisma and has some really cool mechanics/gimmicks. i especially liked unkillable enemies you had to lure into a trap (that could also kill you).
on to normal mode!
i gotta get back to that one it's so goofy. huge W on the first 1cc it's addictive to chase more
I've been grinding Deathsmiles arcade to shoot for a 1cc, I think I'll be able to get it this weekend
I stopped playing video games for a few months recently, but I remembered that I have a psp and I really want to use it! Currently downloading some VNs that piqued my interest just for funsies, but the main game I'm excited to try out Tales of Phantasia. The artstyle is so cute!!

I have been playing every single Legend of Zelda game – probably I will write a post about that at some point – but it is tiring to me to play too many 3D or 2D games in a row, so I like to alternate. In fact I am taking a "break" now by playing Star Fox Adventures for the GameCube which is considered a sort of honorary Zelda game. "YOU PAY THIS MUCH"...
Playing RE2 Remake for the first time; On hardcore mode as I punish myself coming off Darksouls.
So far so good.... I am kinda stuck on a boss - think I'm late-game almost....
I did borrow this from the Library for my PS4. I may just get it on steam when it goes on sale.
Although I can renew the game....

I've got a route for first 6 stages that I can pretty much clear, but the difficulty jump for the castle stage always gets me, need to be smarter about power up and bomb use. I'm close!
I got sidetracked bc I got a new controller "Gulikit Elves 2 Pro" which is a hybrid saturn-style controller - absolutely love that D pad style. Ended up playing a bunch of Dodonpachi DOJ on switch since the controller only works for PC/switch. I've been close on a 1cc for Arrange S mode on that, need to stop leaking lives on stage 3/4. Probably the easiest Hibachi in any of the modes which feels encouraging.
I have a 8bitdo m30 (their Saturn clone, works on PC/Switch) but it's going to be gathering dust now - any interest? highly rec'd for shmups and other 2d games.
I recently picked up "gamesir C2 Universal Arcade Fightstick" I believe it's being discontinued... so I snagged it on sale.
Got some decent parts (Sanwa) and able to mod it down the line if needed, for now its been good to play some old streetfighter(s) and bomberman :P.
Also picked up Hades on steam sale - very good game loop, to just do a couple rooms and put down. (Steamdeck makes that loop even better - soft resume states.)
