Pluribus also sticks with me. i follow a lot of blogs on tumblr that post about it frequently and the feeling i get when i see people excitedly shipping Carol and Zosia is like YES... wait, no? NO!hiiiiii carol :love:Pluribus was my show last year, it really lived up to the Vince Gilligan pedigree. Already rewatching it.
What are you watching?
my media analysis skills are pretty poor (i don't watch much television/movies), i didn't notice a marked difference in the seasons. i don't recall being bored in season 2, but again, my discernment with this type of media is pretty fuzzy

I enjoyed Andor also. They did a great jobI’ve been watching Andor and it’s somehow some of the best TV I’ve seen, despite being Star Wars.
Just finished rewatching season 1 of The Owl House. I have fond memories of watching it during the height of COVID while chilling at work during our quiet period. I'm going to save season 2 to watch weekly when summer comes, my next show at the moment is going to be the original run of Sailor Moon. Something tells me the vibes are exactly what I'm looking for, and it would be nice to have something chill to throw on while I'm not busy ^^

I have been volunteered to run a oneshot for my D&D group for our annual Ttrpg Holiday, so I'm researching Spanish telenovelas.
Ready for some INCEPTION?
One of our players just started playing a new character (because I kind of accidentally hit her in the face with a cannonball) who in game is writing a trashy bodice-ripper romance novel set in the dunes of the desert planet on which they live.
The player irl has gone for far as to write out Chapter 1 and pass it around. And the other players love it.
And that's the game they want for our Holiday Special.
A loud, cheesy, passionate, over-the-top romance story, set in the fictional novel within the fictional game.
I found a game called Pasión de las Pasiones made specifically for playing telenovelas:

...and I think it's going to be perfect.
So anyway, yeah I'm watching old 90s telenovelas on youtube

I've been watching The Pitt and I'm not sure if it's Good or not but it's certainly Good TV. It's basically 24 (jack bauer) x House MD (or ER). There's a lot of tonal whiplash and peculiar "character basically speaks directly at camera to teach the viewer a lesson" bits that bother me, but it's addictive to watch. Great blood and guts FX and pacing
