While this is hardly cooking yesterday I concocted this meal:
The tofu is relevant to the meal prep thing – you can fry up thin pieces of tofu and have them for later, as a side dish, in sandwiches, topping for ramen...
- pre packaged chicken bone broth
- a quantity of bachan's japanese barbecue sauce
- a package of instant ramen
- leftover fried tofu chopped into squares
- shichimi togarashi

I don't really use milk for anything else, so when I run out of cereal before milk, I have to buy more cereal. If I run out of milk, but have cereal left, I have to buy more milk. I will keep doing this until I'm able to empty them both in a single bowl - then I will be free.

I have tried to use regular type soup broths for ramen before and found them not flavorful enough – there is a reason ramen broths are usually so salty. The Bachan's made a huge difference. It hadn't occurred to me to add it to soup before but there's nothing in it that doesn't work there.

Home cooked food slaps but cooking is such a time-consuming endeavor
It doesn't help that I like to cook fairly high effort dishes (anybody else have a copy of The Food Lab?). I'm trying to cook in bulk and actually freeze stuff for future meals, historically I don't use my freezer much.
