good software interfaces

we were chatting about this on IRC and it has me wanting more. what are some examples of "good" software interfaces? elly famously enjoys simplicity in her interfaces and i famously enjoy clutter in mine, nothing is intuitive, etc. etc. so this is more about your own vibes.
operating systems, applications, web apps, anything.
i used Google Wave as an example of the kind of density i enjoy:
