<3 fires of rubicon <3

so good! the only from game i have actually put lots of time and effort into. i will play til i hit a FUCK YOU SKILL CHECK wall, quit for a month or two, then come back and work hard at it. i'm on such a break now. unlike the other from games i feel that the loop of failure is way more chill and approachable (this still does not stop me from rage quitting but unlike other from games i come back).

OMG Patlabor!!!! So cool to see something from that era. I'll definitely have to peek through some of these over the week :D

I'm not massively into mecha, I think the Gunpla aspect of the hobby/interest has me afraid, but I will say that Mechagodzilla and its variants are my favorite things on this earth. ESPECIALLY Mechagodzilla 3/Kiryu. At some point I will end up returning to this thread (or maybe just writing a blogpost) to explain just how much of a profound impact that thing had on me as a person for no good reason.

I AM EXCITED FOR THIS!!!

I was on a track to be a mech model person as a youth but was always way too stressed out by the painting. I would only do pre-painted kits and those were always lower quality.

so I consider myself "into mecha" but not in any kind of gunpla way. I buy figurines occasionally but sparingly (I just got a nice 08th ms team one). I just love 80s mecha stuff, several gundam iterations, and especially mecha games like front mission.

I realllllly want to play some amazing looking PC-98 games...specifically Power Dolls ( http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/power-dolls/ and CRW: Metal Jacket https://46okumen.com/projects/crw-metal-jacket/
