first meh of voyager season 4 for me is ep 4, Nemesis. within a few minutes I had the entire plot guessed at the the final moralism autocompleted. blah blah. i mean i don't take issue with the specific moral content of the PSA i just find PSA episodes boring.

give me more of that flat affect borg lady though, stat.

also i'm really not sure how i feel about tom and b'elanna. b'elanna's growth has been about maturing, managing anger, figuring out who she is. that's awesome. tom has been, like, i guess womanizing less? and is less lazy? he is continually depicted as being more with it and cool/normal than her. he's too perfect going into season 4.

despite being brought on as eye candy they lucked out with a very talented actor, and the writing for her episodes tends to be top quality.

i will refrain from any comments that might spoil but i will say that i agree B'Elanna is too good for Tom :( he still has some growth coming and has a stand-out episode next season, but he's one of the less interesting characters over all. except for anything to do with Captain Proton. A+ content there.

I found out after watching this parody video that the pairing Janeway/Seven of Nine (known at the time as J/7) was quite popular back in the day. Here's a whole website dedicated to it.

There used to be a J/7 forum that was quite active when the show was still running, which was hosted on VoyForums (no relation to Star Trek: Voyager). It was fun looking through the old posts, seeing what got people excited and the speculation that people got up to. Sadly, it's now dead and not on IA. Oh well.

I also ran into this site with a Kim/Seven (K/7) fanfic archive. This was also quite popular for obvious reasons, but not as much as J/7 as far as I could tell? At any rate, still quite enjoyable.

fascinating. so far i have felt a mother/daughter vibe from them and a shipping had not even remotely crossed my mind.

that said, i have never found jakoteway very convincing. they are both hot lovable people but i just don't buy it.
