Children's Card Games (MtG)

I recently tried out Magic: The Gathering and unfortunately it's a lot of fun. I've been avoiding the game for years because it seems like an expensive hobby, but I have a bunch of friends who are into it and I finally broke down and gave it a try. The rules are stupid intricate (the official rules document is a 300+ page pdf 
), but that makes it a fun game for the rules lawyer in me.
I grabbed a couple of the Bloomhaven commander decks, currently playing the bunny deck which is fun and weird because a core mechanic is gifting cards and other items to your opponents.
