That's really cool vilmibm! Which Halo did yall play (or which ones?)
My friends and I are going to start Silent Hill 2 tonight, I snagged a PS2 version for under $30 last week, I'm super excited :D
the first one! We had OG xboxes set up. I made a library exhibit of old magazines talking about Halo, the original Halo strategy guide, and a bunch of halo LAN party footage i found digging through youtube ( https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLj4w ... JcvDlfQteo )
re: SH2...one of my absolute favorite games. enjoy!!! the PS2 one is definitely better than the recent remake.
Okay for years I've been in love with this single devs games. They are WEIRD and surrealist and just a great time. They just released their newest game in open access.
What's really cool is to play them the order that he made them, because you can see how thier skills grew over time. The first is a walking sim that's hardly an hour long with almost zero mechanics (but an AMAZING vibe/ambiance). Then some small puzzles are introduced in the next game. Eventually they added this fantastic dice mechanic with really unique features to these games! All while keeping that same super weird trippy vibe.
bro video games
i recently got my hands on flatout total insanity VR and forza horizon 6
flatout with vr and a wheel is the most peak bullshit lunacy i have ever experienced and it is a totally different kind of fun than all the assetto corsa ive been playing before flatout came out. cars just flying everywhere and exploding and flipping and piling up and i have to somehow navigate through this insanity without constantly crashing my own car....chefs kiss
forza horizon 6 is wickedly beautiful and the environment is super well done. im more interested in the free roam than doing the events but ill do some of that too. i like mountains so the first thing i did was ignore the introductory events and drive up into the wilderness as soon as the game let me and damn damn DAMN its lovely. i found a really big waterfall and there was a rally car just sitting at the bottom of it waiting for me to claim it lol
i bounced off pragmata. i think it's extremely bland looking and i don't like the little girl nor protagonist. i think the gameplay is super cool!!! i just wish it was in a different game :C
I completed FORBIDDEN SOLITAIRE and loved every minute of it.
I started the new dark pictures game (directive 8020 iirc) yesterday. it's disappointing!
recently I completed ROUTINE which is a scary charming indie horror thing that I recommend.
MECCA CHAMELEON is genuinely fun. and battlefield 6 remains highly entertaining for me.
I've been flip flopping between games again. Currently cycling between Zelda: Wind Waker, Caves of Qud, and on my PSP Dissidia Final Fantasy 012 and Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast.
I tend to juggle a few games that are different flavors from each other. Right now there's Zelda or Caves of Qud when I really want to chew on something, and Dissidia and Outrun when I want to play something a bit more fast paced.
long time since i last posted, and i've played a lot of games since, but i'm playing a lot of pop'n music at the moment (mostly 7 and 8 for the time being) as well as frequency and amplitude. definitely more of a fan of frequency than amplitude but they're both a lot of fun
also been playing kings field: the ancient city (4th game in the series) and it's a really amazing, insanely atmospheric game walking out from the city into the holy forest had my jaw on the floor for a moment with how serene it felt haven't finished it yet but i'd highly recommend giving it a shot based on my experience so far x3
