Ray Wise is a brilliant actor. Apparently he's been in such cinematic masterpieces as "God's Not Dead 2" and "Atlas Shrugged II: The Strike" as well. Wild stuff.

Finished season 2 episode 10 and at this point the plot has logically ended but there are still 12 more episodes in the season. and it is getting weirder.

a few points:
  1. the bolo tie game in this show goes hard
  2. I am really appreciating the casting of Harry Goaz as Andy. Balding in a strange and alarming way. Carries himself as if he has heard the term "walking like a cop" and is self-conciously trying to do it more.
  3. oh no the transphobia. well that's a bummer

There is a really neat transition in season 2 episode 15 where a chess piece is placed on a chessboard and it cuts to a foot stepping onto a checkered-tile floor, with much the same sound foley'd in. That's cinema
