I personally don't mind it. If it gets in the way, it's only a page refresh away from being gone.

there are definitely some in there that take up a lot of space. i'm personally unbothered but if we find ourselves divided with some people enjoying and some people unenjoying, perhaps we can spitball some technical solutions, like...
- force marquee for things that span multiple lines
- hide overflow until hover/click
- ability to ignore/toggle per-user

I don’t mind it too much (they don’t show on mobile, heresy I know)
“don’t show this banner again” would be a simple UX

i think that banner is funny but admittedly its too long for me to have read it all. i still enjoy the vibe.

I too have enjoyed this banner, but I do find it a bit jarring when it appears. A "don't show this banner again" button and another place where you can opt back in seems like a good middle ground.
If we wanna get real zany Another alternative could be allowing some CSS customization for the user which could let folks implement their own hide until hover kinda work arounds, but that could open a whole new can of cool problems

I checked out the themes and I've come back around on this forum banner when paired with this theme.
